This slideshow is worth watching. It may help you one day.

Can it be true that India has more money in Swiss banks than the USA and Russia? In fact, more than all other countries combined? Click on http://www.roguepolice.com/swiss.htm for this allegation; and a sum of 1,500 billion US dollars is quoted.

The Vice Chancellor of A.P.S. University Rewa Prof S.N. Yadav and Dr Sajjan Singh (left), Director of Chinmaya U3A Rewa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which Chinmaya U3A Rewa will conduct courses on topics of interest and benefit of seniors viz. Indian Gerontology, Meditation, Yoga, and 5 Day camps on Art of Graceful Ageing. The A.P.S. University will provide the infrastructure and the Chinmaya U3A Rewa will provide the resource persons and the course content.

This is a pioneer step in the field of Life Long Learning. The first camp on The Art of Graceful Ageing, under this MoU, is to be conducted at Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh on April 15, 2009.

Congratulations to Professor V Visweswariah, Dr. R. Vasunder Reddy, and R N Mital of Andhra Pradesh Senior Citizens Confederation (APSCCON). They have formed a new University of the Third Age, U3A Hyderabad, and have started their programme of Lifelong Learning by researching the History of Ancient India. This was announced at a meeting of APSCCON at which Tom Holloway, Secretary-General of WorldU3A, gave a talk on '"Children of World War Two and the effects of war."

APSCCON has been actively pursuing the subject of pensions for the elderly with the state government for almost a year now. There are many lapses in the implementation of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pensions Scheme (IGNOAPS). Thousands of eligible persons are ignored. Only persons with recommendation of political representatives get it. This is shocking and must be changed.
